Wines of the World Pairing/Tasting Course

We will be enrolling for this course soon. Classes will begin on June 2, 2014. Please check back.

Sommelier Dylan Arriaza of VinX Food and Wine will teach students the fine art of reading and understanding a wine label and how to pair wine with food. Students will have the opportunity to taste up to 40 different wines during this nine week course.

Kindle Fire!!

WE GOT IT! We have converted to E-Content! We are one of the few Culinary programs to provide students with an e-reader in place of hard textbooks! All new students enrolling in the program will receive a Kindle Fire as part of their Culinary Kit. As students progress through the program they will receive their Kindle version textbook on their Kindle Fire to use in class. No need to carry heavy books to and from class each day. Students will also be emailed additional content from the Chef Instructors as it pertains to their class. Kindle Fire will remain property of the Culinary Program until the student completes the program at which time it is their property to keep.

New Culinary Training Facility

We are fortunate to have a brand new Culinary Training Facility with two fully equipped kitchens! Our kitchens are equipped with Wolf, Vulcan and Imperial commercial grade equipment that are used in many hotels and restaurants. Along with the two beautiful kitchens, we have two classrooms equipped with smartboards and Imac computers.

We have four talented Chef Instructors teaching the eight courses in our 11 month program. Unlike other local Culinary Programs, along with the Culinary training courses, we have two student operated cafes that students finish the program in the last four months of the program so they can practice the skills they learned in a "Real Restaurant". Paid internships are available to the top performing students at the Pacific Palms Resort in the City of Industry as space is available.
