Career Technical Education Teaching Credentials

Many culinary schools claim to be state approved Culinary programs, but most do not require their Instructors to hold a valid teaching credential. Here at the Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education - Food Service and Hospitality Culinary Arts Program all our Instructors have worked in the Foodservice industry AND hold a valid Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Credential. Our curriculum is approved by the California Department of Education and we have a dual accreditation through Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) as well as Council on Occupational Education (COE).
